How do we make money — and how we avoid conflicts
We charge a flat ₹5,000. Where a valid arrangement exists, we may also receive lender/partner remuneration. Here's how we keep recommendations fair.
How do we make money?
Doorstep Loans charges the customer a flat ₹5,000 service fee. Where we operate under a valid arrangement with a bank, NBFC or authorised lending channel, we may also receive commission or referral remuneration from the lender/partner according to the applicable agreement.
The customer does not pay Doorstep Loans an additional percentage of the loan amount.
Conflict-of-interest policy
If two lenders are suitable but pay different commissions, we do not represent that the higher commission automatically means the lender is better. Commission received is one commercial component of our business relationship and is not presented as a measure of lender suitability.
Comparison factors we consider
Commission is not a scoring factor by default in our matching engine.
Final lender selection and approval remain subject to lender terms and customer choice. Our recommendation process is designed to consider lender suitability, eligibility, pricing and other relevant factors.
